Future Cities Magazine
Editorial Design for Research Publications
The Future Cities Magazine is a bi-annual publication of the Future Cities Laboratory. It is a research presentation format for the general public. Articles are typically four to ten pages, allowing authors to provide detailed insight into their work.
I was responsible for the identity, the design and the co-ordination of the printing of the magazine. Together with Uta Bogenrieder I designed several issues and developed a template for future editions.
The overall look is light and airy. It combines maximum readability with the presentation of high-quality, large-format images. Slightly smaller than A4, the magazine is comfortable to hold.
Text can flow across one or two columns. There are also many options for more sophisticated typography.
